After Rescue, Months of Treatment at SEAACA

Bluebell Ready for Her Forever Home

Bluebell, formerly known as Prada -- the 1˝-year-old Pit Bull dragged behind her owner’s pickup on her way to be put down at the animal shelter -- is now ready for her forever home!

“Her injuries have healed and her skin condition is almost completely healed,” said Aaron Reyes, Director of Operations for SEAACA. “Bluebell has been flooded with toys and fresh blankets, thanks to many donations.”

Her medical costs soared, but were somewhat off-set by $1000 received for her care,” Reyes stated.

Bluebell is available for adoption at SEAACA Animal Care Center, 9777 Seaaca St., Downey. Her $100 adoption fee includes spaying, vaccinations, microchip, de-worming, and flea treatment.

Interested adopters will complete an adoption application and short screening interview. “Our staff have spent a lot of time with Bluebell and advise that she go to a home where she's the only animal,” Reyes said. “She can become agitated in the presence of other animals, so we’re going to be particular about her new owner and living arrangements,” stated Reyes.
